A history changing moment: In its 150 years of providing transportation to the public, Gare du Nord, the Eurostar terminal station also known as the gateway into Paris, will close its platforms which usually provides national and international train services.

Mark your diaries and book your Eurostar tickets, on July 11 the sister station to St. Pancras will swap its assortment of fatigued Parisian travellers and tourists for an energetic crowd of revellers, both young and old, prepared to dance and shimmy the night away under the station’s absorbing interior and famous gaping roof.

It is estimated that over 3,000 people are expected to fill up the space on the 4,000m2 dance floor. Each dancer will have their own pair of headphones which they can then groove to some of Europe’s best DJs. One of the acts confirmed already is DJ Cut Killer – famously known to have cameoed in cult French film ‘La Haine.’

At least 3 acts will be on the decks at any time, as the Parisian night promises to produce and provide a variety of genres from techno to electro, hip-hop to funk.

France’s national rail service/provider SNCF has teamed up with event company Silence Events to bring this electrifying night and never-before experience to life. According to holiday comparison website, Easy Voyage, both organisers have arranged bars to be stationed on the station’s forecourt, along with the station’s Eurostar terminal mezzanine transformed into a VIP area.

This is an experience you don’t want to miss out on. With tickets pricing at €22 and €26, and many more acts to be confirmed, dust your French and get ready to party.

Tickets will soon be available on, make sure to subscribe for ticket alerts.

A bientôt.
